Alvalade Holidays for Children and Young People is coming soon!

The Parish of Alvalade in Lisbon is a great place for families, with its parks, public spaces, and excellent schools. This summer, Alvalade is launching a new program for children and young people aged 6 to 16 years called Alvalade Holidays for Children and Young People.

The new program has been created to make vacations more accessible and inclusive for children and young people. In addition to the usual summer program, the new program now includes Christmas and Easter programs as well. There will also be more programs throughout the year to keep children and young people engaged and entertained. 

One of the highlights of the new program is its inclusivity. The Parish Council of Alvalade has ensured that specialized monitors will be available for children and young people with special needs. This means that every child and young person can enjoy the activities and programs, no matter their ability or disability. 

However, as space is limited, pre-registration for the program is required. The Parish Council has set out criteria for pre-registration, and these will be ordered according to the date, hour, minute, and second of online filling and submission. The priority of the pre-registration process is as follows: 

1. Residents in host institutions based in the Parish of Alvalade. 

2. Children and young people identified by the Department of Social Rights of the FA, duly substantiated. 

3. Descendants in the first degree of the straight line of employees of the Parish Council of Alvalade. 

4. Descendants in the first degree of the straight line of citizens registered in the Parish or who have a bond of civil sponsorship in relation to them. 

5. Descendants in the second degree in the straight line of citizens registered in the Parish. 

6. Children and young people attending educational establishments in the Parish of Alvalade. 

7. Descendants in the first degree of the straight line of citizens who prove to exercise their professional activity in the area of the Parish of Alvalade. 

8. Children and young people who have already attended a shift, if there are vacancies. 

The Parish Council has also specified the documents required for each pre-registration criteria to be submitted for data confirmation purposes. These documents include identification documents of the child or young person, medical reports/health, and food certificates, if applicable, and proof/declaration of the family allowance scale assigned by social security. 

It is essential to submit pre-registrations before the deadline, and then send the respective documents via email to alvalade.em.ferias@jf-alvalade.pt.
